Installation and Use Requirements of Drip Irrigation Tape
1. The location of the water source and the head hub is generally selected in the middle of the plot, and the location is higher.
2. When irrigating, the position of the water inlet is high, and ensure that the position of the drain well is at a lower position.
3. Generally, the water delivery and distribution pipelines of the drip irrigation system can be divided into three-stage pipelines: main pipe, branch pipe, and capillary (drip irrigation tape (pipe)), and some systems are equipped with branch pipes. The pipelines at all levels are arranged vertically with their superior pipelines.
4. Try to install the branch pipes on both sides of the main pipe, and the length of the branch pipes should be the same as possible, so that they are arranged symmetrically.
5. The laying direction of the last-stage drip irrigation pipe (belt) should be parallel to the planting direction of the crop. Its superior pipeline (sub) branch pipe is perpendicular to the crop planting direction (dropper belt (pipe) arrangement direction). (Sub) The upper pipeline of the branch pipe is parallel to the planting direction of the crop.
6. Under the condition of flat slope terrain, the dropper strip (pipe) is perpendicular to the upper pipeline. The laying is also symmetrically laid on both sides of the (sub) branch pipe. Under the condition of uniform slope terrain, capillary tubes are arranged symmetrically on both sides of the branch (auxiliary) tube and according to the hydraulic properties of the capillary tube, the reverse slope direction is short, and the down slope direction is long. When the hydraulic properties of the reverse slope direction are not good, only use the down slope direction to lay.
7. The actual laying length of the capillary determines the number of rows of branch pipes that can be controlled. If the capillary length is long and the distance between the branch pipes is large, the number of rows of branch pipes will be reduced, which plays a certain role in reducing the cost of the pipe network. The prerequisite is careful design to ensure that the laying length is within the laying distance of the dropper belt (pipe).
8. For the selection of pipe network of drip irrigation system, PVC-U pipes can be used for the main pipes in generally flat areas, which should be buried below the frozen soil layer. (Sub) The branch pipe needs to be punched, so PE pipe should be selected.
9. The main pipes should be arranged in parallel with roads, forest belts, and power lines, so as to avoid crossing obstacles and turnings as little as possible.
10. When conditions permit. The branch pipes should be arranged in the same direction as the roads and ditches as far as possible to facilitate transportation, installation and maintenance.
